The
North American Nebula (NGC 7000) measures an amazing 120.0' x 100.0'
and bares an uncanny resemblance to its namesake. Just to the
right of NGC 7000 is IC 5067, the Pelican Nebula. Many other
Milky Way star clouds, open clusters, and dark nebulae are visible in
this photograph. The curved nebula in the center of the image is
Sh2-119.
