COMMENTS:

The
giant gas planet Jupiter. JMI NGF-S focuser I normally use wasn't
available, so I had to make due with a course focus. The seeing
was also poor. The Great Red Spot is clearly visible just below
he South Equatorial Belt. Two shadow transits are also
visible. The one directly north of the GRS is from the moon
Europa. The other shadow is from Io. Io is that bright spot
at the "1:00" position on Jupiter's limb. |
