EXPOSURE: 1/400 second @ ISO 200 (disk) / 1/400 second @ ISO 800 (limb)
LOCATION:
Kalamazoo Township (my backyard)
INSTRUMENT:
Tele Vue Pronto w/ Coronado SolarMax 40 BF-10 & Meade 2x Barlow Lens
PROCESSING:
Split red band with Adobe Photoshop 7.  Aligned 10 images with RegiStax 3.  Unsharp masking and colorized with Photoshop.
COMMENTS:
My best effort at photographing the Hydrogen Alpha Sun with the DSLR camera thus far.  I’m still working on a consistent processing routine.  Missing some details in the prominences, but I’m very happy with the disk detail visible.  I’ll just be glad when the Sun is a little more active.
