of 9 prominence images with
RegiStax 3. Wavelet filters adjusted to 1, 5, 10, 5, 3, 1.
Gaussian adjusted to 0.12 and Step to 0.02. Gamma adjusted to 0.50
(disk only). Unsharp masking (Amount = 90%, Radius: 1.0
pixels). Colorized with Photoshop
(shadows: +77, +14, -73 / midtones: +69, -15, -8). |
COMMENTS:

I also
shot a white light image of the Sun on the same date. It's
interesting to compare the two and see the differences in similar
features such as the sunspots and faculae visible on September 18.
