The
historic Transit of Venus at Contact III. The legendary, but
dreaded "Black Drop Effect" is visible. A prominence is just
visible to the right on the solar limb. Not as sharp of an image
as I had hoped, but I need to reprocess it when I catch up on my
sleep. For some reason, there was an abnormal amount of noise
while making the movie used to create this image. Must have been
gremlins! |
